My son has only been in Little Ladybirds for a few weeks but he is settling in lovely. I looked around a few other nurseries but I’m so happy I got a place here. The staff are great (the best) and I’m about to have twins that will also be coming to Corner House, if there’s space!

Free Entitlement Sessions

Children become eligible for Free Entitlement at the start of the term after their 3rd birthday. They will receive up to 15 hours, free of charge, per week, for 38 weeks per year, which may be taken as part of their day care package.

The free 15 hours must be spread over a minimum of 3 days per week.

At Corner House, children can take free sessions as part of their day care package which will reduce your regular childcare fee’s. They can attend for half-days or full days, throughout the year.

 

How do I pay?

An invoice will be provided before your start date and then at the start of each new term. Terms are usually 17 weeks long so you will receive your bill 3 times per year. Your bill will be calculated by multiplying your weekly fee by 17 weeks, and then dividing the total by 4 months. Your monthly payment will then be due on or before the 1st of each month in advance. You can choose to pay termly or monthly.

Childcare vouchers

Save Tax and National Insurance contributions with childcare vouchers

If your employer operates a childcare voucher scheme, you can save National Insurance and Income Tax by registering for your employer’s scheme. Up to £55 a week can be deducted from your salary and used to provide childcare vouchers for the same amount. This amount, which is deducted from your gross salary, is then exempt from National Insurance and Income Tax.

 

Voucher providers

The process of paying with childcare vouchers is designed to be simple and straightforward for both employers, employees and Nursery providers. We accept vouchers from many providers. If your employer uses a different provider don’t worry, it’s easy for us to open an account with them so we can receive payments.  Just ask our financial manager in plenty of time before your fee’s are due.
